Children are at the center of God's heart and his plan for his people. God's plan for children is written in Deuteronomy 6:1-9. If God's people were to succeed in the Promised Land it would depend on whether or not they could pass HIS ways to the next generation. God is all about "Generation Next."

One day, the disciples thought they were doing Jesus a favor by rebuking people who were bringing little children to him. Here's how Jesus reacted: "When Jesus saw this he was indignant. He said to them, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it'" (Mark 10:14-15). Let's pray that we may we learn a few lessons from Jesus.
