Before Jesus began His ministry the Holy Spirit descended (fell) on Him in the Jordan River. As we continue this Christian journey, we like the Israelites figuratively cross over the Jordan to take hold of the promises God has for us. He has empowered and filled us with the Holy Spirit to drive out the forces of darkness, win souls and operate with power in His kingdom. If you only let the Holy Spirit fall on you.
