LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining – they just shine. Dwight L. Moody

If you went to Sunday School as a child, you will probably have learnt the song ‘This little light of mine’. It’s a song that talks about letting our light for Christ shine in the world. However, as we grow up and get older, the actual words of the song take on new meaning.

God calls us to shine our light in a world that’s full of darkness. The words of this children’s song are a real call to action from our Heavenly Father. As we live out each day, our lives need to shine to bring attention to the Saviour King who will bring healing, restoration, unity, peace and hope to a world desperate for it. They just need us to light the way.
