Eastern Pacific – On December 15, 2025, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out lethal kinetic strikes on three vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations, under the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Intelligence confirmed that the targeted vessels were navigating known narco-trafficking routes in international waters and were actively engaged in narcotics smuggling.

The strikes resulted in the deaths of eight male narco-terrorists: three aboard the first vessel, two on the second, and three on the third.

These operations demonstrate the task force’s ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist and narco-trafficking activities in the region.
