The chosen destination was Memphis High, renowned for its "championship pedigree" in every major sport, which Liz deemed "perfect." The main logistical sacrifice is her father, who will endure a seven-hour commute twice a week from Memphis back to the Ohio factory, fueled by coffee and the thought of her winning MVP.

The family, including her rock-solid mother, Donna, and two disruptive younger brothers, moved into a suburban Memphis house perfect for athletic training. Liz’s room was immediately organized as her "headquarters" with space for medals and a massive whiteboard for diagramming plays. The move's only hilarious hiccup was the movers trying to label her weighted vest and medicine balls as 'FRAGILE - GLASS.'

On Sunday evening, Liz was not unpacking, but studying the Memphis High athletic website, memorizing the time and history of her new primary target: the 400m record holder named Brenda. Feeling like a "finely tuned machine," Liz headed out for a late run to map her training routes. She is not nervous for her first day; she is primed and ready to conquer the new school, prioritizing competition above all else.
