This week's episode of Mapped Out is inspired by Michael Beasley's conversation on "The Pivot Podcast". Unfortunately, "needing help" is typically only recognized when it's too late. Research shows that 63% of Black people believe that a mental health condition is a sign of personal weakness (NAMI, 2022). I figured that this topic is too important to not be completely honest & transparent about.
