Well, I'm sure glad to see this way up in Dave Marsh's list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made... cause it certainly is one of those! Here's another one, though, that I would have ranked even higher... probably in the top 10. I mean, Oooh! What a great performance... gotta be one of the sexiest songs ever made. By the way, this track's time of 3:58 is nearly a minute shorter than what you get on the LP, so if the LP sounds like it's going on too long, that's why. Here, you get the concentrated goodness without the fluff. :-) Yes, I'm sure Marvin Gaye agreed the edit was a good idea, folks. Every author needs a good editor, I always say. :-) Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels and vinyl (styrene), with just a few light scuffs. The A side audio is so close to perfect I'm calling it Mint... no distortion and virtually no surface noise.
