Socrates once said, "the unexamined life is a life not worth living." But how does that work when it comes faith and belief? Rob confronts this question by setting the premise that the unexamined faith is a faith not worth believing; and he applies this not just toward believers. He also challenges skeptics listening to The Real Issue Podcast, to challenge him to defend their skepticism.
In this show Rob puts forth four reasons for believers to be able to defend what and why they believe in Christ: 1) The Bible commands it; 2) Reason demands it; 3) Our world is crying out for us to give it the reason for hope in a world groping for hope in a pandemic culture; and 4) the results for skeptics coming to the faith have had the Holy Spirit's help in using the evidences that point to the gospel.
As part of the show today, Rob welcomes his listeners to send an email and dialogue with him on why they hold to the beliefs they do, either from a Christian or a skeptical perspective.
