John 6: 27, 35, 50-51,55, 65
In this scripture, Jesus feeds five thousand men and then explains that He is the bread of life, and through His blood, by eating and drinking this bread, we will have eternal life. This means we will live forever and will be raised up on the day of redemption.
By eating and drinking Jesus's body and blood, we get close to the Father. It's a sign that we have been drawn to Jesus by the Father. Through this, Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit to seal us and reassure us that we belong to Him.
Today's Word Application: The transformative power of God's word is immense. By consuming His word, you will live differently and have eternal life. Remember His sacrifice, where He shed His blood. Drink of His blood, for it is a 'true drink' that will unite you with Him and Him with You.
