In Episode 17 of the Let's Replay Podcast, I follow up on the game that put number one on my list of must-play retro games: Super Mario Bros. 3. Releasing to North Americans in 1990, SMB3 is widely considered the best game on the original NES. While I don't have the nostalgia ties to this one myself, I have a lot of respect for it and I explain why as I reveal the 10 achievements I picked for the game. After revealing my 10 achievements, I decide on the 5 that make the official review.

The Let's Replay Podcast is back for Episode 16, in a slightly different format! I'm by myself this week and revealing my list of top 10 must-play retro games. What defines a retro game? For this list, my rule was games that released before 2000 - true old-school titles. I explain each entry of the list and why they made the cut, then quickly get into some of my honorable mentions

This week on the Let's Replay Podcast, I'm by myself and I'm talking about Shadow of the Colossus, which originally released in 2005 for the Playstation 2, was remastered on the Playstation 3, and remade for the Playstation 4 in 2018. Review spoiler alert: this game is fantastic and a work of art. If you have not played Shadow of the Colossus and have the means to, you absolutely should. I explain why as I reveal the 10 achievements I awarded Shadow of the Colossus, and then I pick 5 that make the cut into the official review.

We're kicking off your Monday this week with a new episode - and we're talking Madden just in time for football season! My friend Sean makes his debut on the show to discuss what makes the Madden series so frustrating. We also get into why despite its flaws, we can't stop playing Madden and it is undeniably one of the most important, historic video game franchises out there. We take turns revealing our lists of 10 achievements and the ones we agreed on survived the roster cuts to make the official review.

This week's episode is a little different - I'm flying solo again and I'll be revealing my top 50 Mario Kart courses! As of now, the plan is to take one week every couple months or so and mix the format up to keep things fresh and give myself a little extra time to actually play the games. We'll be back on track next week and the game under the microscope will be Mario Kart World.
