Few movies have moved me in so many ways like Black Swan did when I discovered it in college. Darren Arronofsky often deeply explores human experiences such as addiction and obesity, or loss; with this film being no different. It's a powerful look at the damage that can be done when an artist strives for perfection in their work. The toll on the physical and mental well being becomes tremendous. This is a beautiful movie.
