Thanks to a number of interviews with leading researchers, we're able to share with you a wealth of interesting information on the subject, including the impact of our expectations, thoughts and many other personal or contextual aspects on pain. The episode begins with a first interview with Serge Marchand, scientific director of a private company and associate professor at the Université de Sherbrooke, for an initial overview and demystification of the subject. Following up, interviews conducted with passionate researchers including psychologist Lene Vase, professor at Aarhus University in Denmark, Dr. Luana Colloca, professor at the University of Maryland in the USA, and postdoctoral fellow and physiotherapist Małgorzata Starzec-Proserpio, from the Université de Sherbrooke.
