Every human being faces resistance. We all have limits that our bodies and minds are attuned to. We are used to accepting only so much love, success, and wealth.
When you aim higher, change, or push past your current limitation, you will start to hear a voice that will attempt to hold you back. It might tell you you're not good enough, you're not worthy, or even that there is no point.
Our bodies and minds are very good at keeping us safe. Except sometimes “keeping us safe” equates keeping us in our comfort zone and that’s no longer where we want to be. These subconscious actions, although well meaning, are holding you back.
In this episode I'm going to share with you what resistance is, how does it show up, and why identifying can help you continue to move forward.
Your One Thing This Week
Spend the next week calling out your roadblocks for what they are. If you start procrastinating, feeding into self-doubt, worrying incessantly, picking fights, criticizing others, or even self-medicating, I want you to identify the moment. Don’t try to change the behavior right now. Just get really good at identifying your resistance or your roadblocks for what they are.
