-Couples who communicate more about sex tend to have better sex, study finds.
- For both men and women, talking about sex with their partners was associated with better orgasm and greater overall sexual well-being.
- For women specifically, sexual communication with a partner was related to increased sexual desire.
- The link between communication and sexual functioning was also stronger in studies where the participants were married.

-The topic least likely to be discussed was sexual pleasure, with 46% of young people reporting they learned nothing about this.
-one in five respondents said they do not have any trusted adult with whom they feel comfortable discussing matters relating to relationships and sex.
- Where young people do have a trusted adult they are a female in over three-quarters (77%) of cases.
