Coming From The Heart

Let's Talk About Sexual Assault: Survivors & Thrivers, Part 1

Listen Later

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are so proud to share this special episode with you, made possible thanks to our collaboration with Cor-a (@walkwithdignity), a nonprofit organization started by the collegiate women of Penn State who challenge the sexual assault crisis with courage. We have also partnered with Ines, founder of @wearefig, who will be reciting submitted poetry and stories. Join us for this honest and empowering conversation between survivors, healers, and advocates.

Thank you to all of the survivors and participants who shared their stories! April may be sexual assault awareness month, but we at Coming From the Heart are devoted to keeping the conversation ongoing. We are here for you, so know you are never aloneđź’“

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault and would like to share your story, please do not hesitate to reach out to us or Cor-a, @walkwithdignity. If you’re having a mental health crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255, or text Hello to the Crisis Text Line at 741741.
