In this episode, we are joined by Donald Warne, MD, MPH, family medicine physician, Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as well as the Director of the Indians into Medicine and Master of Public Health Programs. In addition, Dr. Warne is a professor of Family and Community Medicine at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of North Dakota. He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, his medical degree from Stanford, and completed his residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon. 

Dr. Warne discusses how early policy decisions in this country have affected the health outcomes of indigenous populations, the lack of representation of Native Americans in Medicine, and unique training opportunities at the University of Dakota.
