On today's episode, we are talking all about "sharenting".
Sharenting is the practice of parents publicizing content about their children on internet platforms.
Today, many children’s social media presence starts as early as a sonogram.
One study found that nearly 1,500 images of the average child had been placed online by their fifth birthday.
Although, nothing entirely wrong with "sharenting," it definitely has it's risks, which I will share with you today and the factors that my husband and I considered when deciding how much we wanted to share on the world wide web.
Disclaimer:
Please know that in no way, do I intend to come off as if I'm judging or shaming others for their stance on sharenting.
This episode is purely me sharing my personal stance on it for my child.
I 100% respect your decision, whether it differs or not from mine.
