In this episode, Thulee delves into why journalling as a spiritual practice is important and valuable in maturing in faith as well as acknowledging God's grace. We read in the Bible about prophets who were commanded to write anything, it denoted the great importance of it, and that the fulfilling of it was at some distance. Habakkuk 2:2 is one example where God spoke to Habakkuk and asked him to "write the vision" and to "make it plain". We know that what is only spoken is soon forgotten, but what is written is more lasting. Writing the vision down starts bringing it to life. It inspires intentional action. Which is why writing your goals, your prayers, your hopes for your faith journey etc is so special.
