This podcast is all about learning to FEEL GOOD, even when life DOESN'T.
Today, we are talking about STRESS. A real life challenge that can upend the best of us, making hard days even harder. What can we do to feel good, when stress rears it's ugly head? Here's a summary of what we're talking about today.
1. Not ALL stress is bad. There's good stress and BAD stress.
2. GOOD stress motivates us--think procrastination on a big school project--and it's what makes us all want to DO better and BE better. It's not necessarily EASY but it moves us forward.
3. BAD stress on the other hand can make us feel stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted and more. And it's not just bad for our mental and emotional health--it's bad for our physical health too. It is a physiological event--and it has consequences on our body.
4. Understanding this enables us to stay in tune with our bodies and how we are feeling so we can navigate stressful times with awareness.
