First Nations women experience domestic and sexual violence at higher rates than non-Indigenous women and are more likely to end up in hospital or have their children removed.  There are a host of organisations to support women in this situation from providing temporary shelter, legal support or family support.  Strong Women Talking is a Brisbane organisation created to support First Nations survivors of domestic violence heal.  Karen Dorante spoke to its CEO, Sono Leone.
