The Mothers Step In For Our Kids podcast series launches with a Letter to our Mothers. As a symbolic Mother’s Day bouquet for those who gave us life, the poem is a testament to our mothers of how grateful we are. We cannot be together physically to march in Ottawa, so we are uniting around the power of voice to demonstrate our collective strength and resolve to fight against political inaction in the face of climate change.
With the voices of: Ellen David, Victoria Diamond, Natalie Fontalvo, and the participation of numerous other members of For Our Kids and the Mères au front collective - Natalie Caine, Philippa Duchastel de Montrouge, Eve Gadouas, Robyn Fadden, Alexandra Haedrich, Alayne Moody, Emilie O’Brien, Sylvia Rack and Jennifer Webb
Director: Séléna Théret
Musical composition: Antonin Wyss
Sound design, sound recording, editing and mixing: Daniel Capeille
Production: Magnéto, for Mères au front
Executive producer: Alexandra Viau
Original idea: Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette and Véronique Côté
Text: Véronique Côté, inspired by the words of Mères au front
