Greetings Course Students,

In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles is a reminder that we are learning how to let the Light of God do the forgiving work for us. In my experience, this is most easily accomplished through our practice of meditation. When we go within to consult with the Holy Spirit, he will remind us to forget about "trying" to forgive but instead to practice reaching the Light and letting It "do" the forgiving for us. This is a big difference when compared to the way that we were taught about the practice of forgiveness by many religious traditions. The practice is not easy at first because we are so used to doing things for ourselves. So we practice during our meditations in "letting go" and "trusting God" to do it for us. That is the focus of the Lessons we practice now.
