December Culling – Letting Go

I spent the weekend focused on finishing a freelance project that has been holding me up for a couple of months. I’m struggling to make good progress on this every time I sit down to work, but I did get past a major portion of the background drawing this time.

Starting flatting colors so I can show a progress comp to the client. These colors are not quite working, but that’s as far as I could get before Sunday bedtime.

My December culling of personal projects did not make great progress this week. I wasn’t able to sit down to sketch very many times and when I did the results were not what I was hoping for.

The project continues, though and I am encouraged by the fact that it’s still on my mind.
