As believers, God takes us through a process of refinement and one of those processes is the willingness to let go and forgive.

The Bible says in Matthew 5 that blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Are you merciful towards those who have hurt you?

Many of us have gone through hurtful situations that makes it so difficult to let go.

But God is telling us that until we learn to forgive even when it’s hard, then we can’t be set free, that is one of the sacrifices that comes with being Christlike.
