Letting Go of Guilt and Self-Blame

Listen Later

You know those moments when your conscious mind understands something clearly…

You know you did your best.

You know you’re human.

You know you deserve compassion.

And yet, somewhere deeper, something hasn’t caught up.

The self-criticism lingers.

The old narrative repeats.

The body still holds the story.

That gap, between what you know and what you feel, is where this new meditation works.

I now have my subscription available to suit different budgets, flexible pricing, where you can choose what to pay. You can sign up and choose by clicking the link below and unlock access to ALL content on La Forêt Intérieure.

This is a subliminal version of my Self Forgiveness meditation renamed as Letting Go of Guilt and Self-Blame.

You’ll hear the guided meditation as usual, supporting your conscious mind with breath, reflection, and softness.

But layered quietly beneath the music are positive “I am” affirmations, along with subtle binaural beats. While you relax and listen, these affirmations repeat gently in the background, reinforcing self-worth, compassion, steadiness, and inner peace at a subconscious level.

It isn’t dramatic.

It isn’t forceful.

It’s simply repetition in a softened state.

Sometimes the conscious mind understands first.

And the subconscious just needs a little more time, and a little more consistency, to follow.

For full transparency, the affirmations included in this meditation are:

* I am worthy of love and respect.

* I am compassionate with myself.

* I am at peace within.

* I am gentle and understanding.

* I am grounded in self-acceptance.

* I am free to move forward.

* I am aligned with my highest self.

* I am secure in who I am.

* I am deserving of kindness.

* I am whole and complete.

I’ll be making this meditation available to everyone for the next two weeks. After that, it will move into the members’ library.

If you’re curious about working with both the conscious and subconscious together, this is a beautiful place to begin.

Journal Prompts - Letting Go of Guilt and Self-Blame

* Where in my life do I intellectually understand I deserve compassion — but still struggle to feel it?

* What is the recurring inner narrative that plays when I think about this situation?

* If I were speaking to someone I love who felt this way, what would I gently remind them of?

* What would moving forward peacefully look like for me — in practical terms?

* Which affirmation from this meditation feels the most unfamiliar or uncomfortable — and why might that be?

(You can choose to use them all or just pick one or two.)

Why use these journal prompts?

Journal prompts can be incredibly helpful because they provide a structured way to explore your thoughts and feelings, encouraging deeper self-reflection and personal growth.

By guiding you to consider specific aspects of your experiences, journal prompts help you uncover insights and patterns that might otherwise remain hidden.

They can enhance your meditation practice by allowing you to process and internalise what you've learned, bringing a greater sense of mindfulness and self-awareness.

Through regular journaling, you create a valuable space for self-expression, clarity, and emotional healing, making it an essential tool for personal development and well-being.
