We are stepping into a new season at Bethany, and it begins with God’s invitation for each of us to be a river flowing with life. In Ezekiel 47:1–12, we see a vision of God’s river bringing healing, fruitfulness, and life wherever it flows. That vision isn’t just about a place in the future—it’s about what God wants to do through His people today.
Jesus makes this vision personal in John 4 with the woman at the well and in John 7:37–38 when He declares, “Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.” Through Him, we don’t just receive living water—we become carriers of it. We are called to flow into our families, our neighborhoods, our city, and the world with the eternal life only Jesus can bring.
But here’s the challenge: we can’t step fully into this calling if we’re still holding on to things that weigh us down. Just like the woman at the well left her water jar behind when she encountered Jesus, we are invited to let go of whatever is keeping us from being the river God has created us to be.This is bigger than one person or one message—this is the vision for our church. God is calling Bethany to multiply life, hope, and the good news of Jesus. And it starts with each of us saying “yes” to His invitation.
