We all have painful chapters in our life story. Some far more than others, which makes the burdens we carry are particularly heavy. Our pain, suffering and personal histories feel like enormous weights we drag through our lives. While our experiences without question can have a profound affect us, they don’t have to define us. Your current condition is not your conclusion. Meaning, your story about who you were in the past, that keeps you stuck in the present, is not necessarily an accurate indicator of who you’re capable of becoming in the future.
In fact, in some cases adversity is the mother reinvention. However, we have to let go of the past in order embrace possibilities in our future.
Join me and Tiffanee Cook in this episode as we talk about acceptance, and why we believe it’s a critical aspect of healing and growth. What’s more is that like in any great story, your transformation doesn’t only help you, but it can connect you to others in meaningful ways, because it can be enormously valuable to them as well. Sometimes sharing our story and being authentic about even our darkest moments of desperation, can give others the inspiration, to support their own transformation.
Enjoy!
