KEY TAKEAWAYS
Moodconnect all started when Amy began mediating for herself. One day when she came out of meditating a question came to her, which was “how am I feeling”.
Amy hurt her head this week, immediately after this she found out her friend had unexpectedly passed away. It made her start reflecting on what would happen if she was not here. It meant she started reflecting on what would happen to her daughter and brought up all sorts of emotions around her relationship with her sister.
No matter who you are, you deserve to have the ability to surround yourself with people who are going to care about you, support you and love you. No one should have to be put in a position where they have to deal with people who are going to abuse them.
If you are struggling with a relationship with someone and all you are doing is hurting each other, Amy says it can be helpful to ‘let them go with love’. It allows you to be open to received love and help from other people and to use your energy for the community of people who are there to support you.
When you have love in your heart you cannot be afraid. But when you have fear, you can’t let love in. Love is the opposite of fear. Amy doesn’t believe there are toxic people in this world, she believes that we learn how to treat others by how we are treated and who teaches us.
