Have you or someone you know had to navigate grief?
Today I'm talking to Tara about her journey from digital marketing and wine to grief counseling. She shares her own grief journey after losing her father in 2019 and how it inspired her to help others cope with loss. Our conversation highlights the importance of normalizing conversations around grief and offers tips for healthcare workers and individuals on how to navigate this difficult topic.
Tara also shares helpful tools such as journaling before bed and reflecting on three things that went well or were highlights of the day to start and end the day on a positive note. This practice can help you feel less lost and overwhelmed when going through difficult times.
It's important that we remember to be sensitive to where people are in their grief journey and acknowledges that everyone's grief is unique. Ultimately, you are not alone and I am thankful for women like Tara that have made it their mission to support those navigating difficult times!
