The latest monthly update from the Bureau of Competition’s Premerger Notification Office (PNO) regarding Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act transactions for July 2022 notes 192 reported transactions. This is the third-highest number of monthly reported transactions in the month of July between FY 2001 and FY 2022. However, it is significantly lower than the reported 343 July transactions in the previous fiscal year of 2021.
