Dress appropriately and make an effort with your appearance – be congruent and authentic with who you are and your business.
Do not try to make a sale in the room. That is not the primary reason for being there. Sell to other people’s networks, not the people in the room.
You have to get out of pyjamas and get in the room, and let some magic happen!
Have your business cards ready – avoid writing on napkins!
Networking works when you make the effort in growing and nurturing friendships – build your know, like and trust factor.
