Lexie Adzija recently finished up her NCAA career as captain for the successful Quinnipiac women’s hockey team. Lexie had signed with the PHF’s Riveters for this upcoming season, but her plan of playing pro hockey was delayed for the time being with a league buy-out and the emergence of a single professional league beginning in 2024.
Lexie was named Mandi Schwartz Student-Athlete of the Year in 2022 and was selected to Hockey Canada’s National Women’s Development Team that year. She was on the 2018
Canada U18 – World Championship squad and is a two-time Gold Medalist with Team Ontario Red at the Canada National Women’s U18 Championship.
In this episode Lexie and Jamie talk about her final year in the NCAA, how her athletic leadership roles translate into other areas of her life, how the sale of the PHF impacted her and her thoughts on the new league, and how she approaches whole life goalsetting.
