LFMK - Bonfire

Listen Later

Kevin Hannegan

Bonfires can be enjoyable, fun, needed for heating or cooking, but they are also dangerous. It's important to follow the basic steps to determine where to build your bonfire, use proper materials (not flammable liquids), keep at a safe distance, and put out before walking away. There are a lot of good video tutorials online for how to build a quality bonfire. I found a couple of step by step lists at WikiHow (https://www.wikihow.com/Have-a-Bonfire) and How Stuff Works (https://home.howstuffworks.com/how-to-make-bonfire-in-your-backyard.htm). Safety will be the first priority. If you have questions, please consult with your local fire department. They can give you tips and suggestions to make your fire and keep everyone safe. Thank you for listening.
