What's your family story? The family history we leave for future generations depends on us. Many of us communicate via email or social media. While digital footprints are never actually deleted, it's becoming rare for people to write letters or even send celebratory cards in our handwriting. We have an opportunity today to write or record our history. Take a few minutes to think about your personal story. Where did you grow up? What was your neighborhood and school like? Who were your parents? Did you have siblings or cousins? What were holidays like growing up? Did your family make special food? Who was your best friend, why, and what did you do for fun? These are just a few questions to get you started. You can finish up with jobs you had, places you visited, experiences you went through, loves of your life, etc. So many of us will leave this world and our history of being here will be lost, unless we take a little time now to write down memories so future generations will know a little about those of us who came before them.
