Ann interviews Alison Tompkins, a local beekeeper.   Alison raises bees for people who want to start their own hives.   As a result, she has spent a lot of time teaching newbie beekeepers about the science and art of beekeeping.  Ann asks Alison how she started out with bees and gets her thoughts and recommendations for people who want to raise their own honey.
