The easiest way to stop thinking of an elephant, is to think of something else. Think of a Lion. The Lion of Judah. Jesus. When temptation comes, Resist at first. Then you need to find the escape God has provided and use that. Don' keep resisting. You'll fail like you did before. The escape route is the right way out, the different way out. Not the way you came in. Fill your mind with God's word so the temptation disappears.
