LGBT History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. It was founded in 1994 by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson.
In 2020, during the global lockdown, filmmaker and activist Bev Palesa Ditsie went online to commemorate with some of the activists from around the world who were behind this campaign.
GUEST: DR. BEVERLY DITSIE - South African lesbian activist, artist, and filmmaker. Ditsie is one of the founders of the gay rights organization, Gay and Lesbian Organisation of the Witwatersrand (GLOW)
