This conversation breaks down five anti-transgender executive orders issued by President Trump, related legal challenges that are already underway, and the role of the judiciary in providing a check on executive overreach. 

Michael provides a detailed overview of each executive order including the  unscientific definition of sex impacting federal IDs and incarcerated individuals, the transmilitary ban, and the medical care ban for transgender minors and young adults.

“There is one word that describes all five of these executive orders…and that’s just cruelty.”  

Beyond the executive branch, Angela and Michael address the anti-transgender bills moving through the House of Representatives. These include the bills targeting bathroom access and sports participation.
