Language is a super powerful tool for communication and as time progresses so does the language we use.

Within the LGBTQIA+ community it can sometimes feel that there is a whole new system of words that people use to describe gender, sexuality and queer culture. And sometimes it can be hard to keep up with it all.

So, with the help of some of our queer youth experts, we unpacked this language, responded to your thoughts and questions, spoke about reclaiming certain words and looked at the evolution of queer language.
