Dr. Martha Jay sits with Principal, Mrs. Viline Christopher, and Teacher Leader, Ingrid Eloi of one elementary school in Dominica. The educators share stories about their success with The Writing to Respond Process (#WTR) and the #OECS #PEARL project expectations. With passion, they share their use of the process to increase student engagement through outings, stories, and higher-order thinking questions. The educators shared their success in improved appreciation for engaging in text, classroom discussion, and writing. They encourage other schools to adopt the use of the process at their school since it is not a burden.
