Dr. Martha Jay sits with Ms. Joycelyn Bazil, the elementary school teacher responsible for the Children's Savings Union at her school. Ms. Bazil shares the guidelines for schools, and parents to participate in the process. She reiterates the main benefit for children which is to cultivate the habits of saving early with the hope of making them into life-long savers. She encourages teachers to use the math curriculum to teach financial literacy, and parents to develop entrepreneurial skills with their children.
