Un chœur ajoute une touche profonde et aérienne, enfin un violoncelle illumine le tout. Mettant un terme à cette intense ouverture, une cloche cristalline solitaire mais reposante annonce un final percutant, massif et très cuivré.

The work begins energetically with powerful timpani, on which come thunderous horns. A choir adds a deep, aerial touch, and finally a cello illuminates the whole. Ending this intense opening, a solitary but relaxing crystal bell announces a striking, massive and very "horned" finish.
