Two weeks from today on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026, over 200 pizzerias will unite to raise funds benfitting the family of fallen Nassau County Police Officer Patricia Espinosa, who was killed on the morning of January 31st, 2026 by an alleged drunk driver.

LI Pizza Strong, an initiative created to mobilize pizzerias across Long Island when tragedy strikes, is behind this effort once more following similar fundraisers in 2023 and 2024. Joining Pags' Perspective to talk about this effort today is one of the partners behind this initiative, Alyssa Guidice.

Alyssa discusses how the initiative came to be in the first place, as well as the details for Pizza Against Drunk Driving on February 25th, at a Long Island pizzeria near you - with $5 of each pie sold going straight to Officer Espinosa's family.
