I have a reputation of being "Mr. Positive" and it's a reputation I am proud of. However, no matter how much I teach and encourage people to have a positive mindset and practice positive self-talk, positivity isn't always positive. If you use positive thinking and self-talk as a way of denying or hiding from painful truths, you are not helping yourself. In fact, your positivity is creating more negative energy in your life.
