My father, Robert L. Van Horn, passed away on June 14, 2018, so it seemed right to take some time on Father's Day, June 17, 2018, to record a tribute to him while the events of the last 2 weeks are still fresh in my mind. Right up to the very end of his 83 years of life, my father was a kind, generous, and hard-working man who was fiercely devoted to loving and providing for his family.
