Georgia state lawmaker Erica Thomas accused Eric Sparkes of verbally and racially abusing her in a store. She claimed that he told her to “go back where she came from”, and that Sparkes proves the problems of white privilege, hatred, and racism in the United States.

Just one problem...Eric Sparkes is Hispanic, and denies ever telling her to “go back where she came from”. Despite an outpouring of support from the Left, Erica Thomas even walked back some of her claims. Has the Left learned to wait for evidence after the Jussie Smollett race hoax? It seems not.
