Liberal Art education includes both hard sciences and “softer” subjects and a well-rounded learning experience that help students to explore new opportunities and develop products that will respond to real human needs thereby creating multi-disciplinary minds. It offers a great amount of flexibility which suits students’ interests (which is very unlike in our traditional university education. A Liberal Arts program is one that provides students the option of studying subjects from across the academic spectrum, with the option to pursue unconventional combinations of subjects. Although a Liberal Arts program revolves around the concept of intellectual freedom, it also believes that students require foundational knowledge in major fields of study. Hence, Liberal Art education is creating a great foundation to solve problems in the 21st century.
