I tend to talk a lot about owning your pleasure. I mean, it is easy for me to say this because I work in a society where it is common for any woman to explore her own sexual pleasure or any type of pleasure for that matter.
But I would like to acknowledge the fact that for some of my listeners who came from the same background as me, owning pleasure is something that we normally talk about.
As an Asian woman who was born and raised in the Philippines, I have witnessed women in my family lean away from pleasure because, for some odd reasons, it could be considered as being selfish, self-centered, or self-absorbed.
How so? In a culture where survival was the only priority in life, women in my family were raised to nurture others first before themselves. Meaning, they were taught that pleasure comes from the joy of taking care of your family rather than pleasure for yourself. Giving yourself some time to enjoy hot baths, manicures, and pedicures, or getting your hair done, or touching yourself and exploring sexual pleasures, is not a cultural norm.
You see, these things tend to be labelled as “luxury” rather than a necessity. Sexual pleasure, on the other hand, is something unheard of for most Asian women. You are lucky if you are raised in a household that talks about sexuality in a very open way.
Lady Jin is a Sexuality & Confidence Coach based in New York who helps individuals who struggle to be fully expressed and connected in their sex & love life to claim true confidence, embrace their sexuality and expand pleasure.

Today’s episode is something I personally haven’t done but oh-so-curious about. With my journey of sexual liberation comes sexual curiosity. This is definitely something I am excited to learn more about and share with you guys because we all have misconceptions around this when in reality we just need to have an open mind with no judgement.
A second timer in my podcast, MIrjam Irene is a European based coach who have lots of experience in Tantra and Female Sexuality exploration.
Sending so much love,
As I embark this journey of adulthood, I find that one of the biggest moment in women's life is getting pregnant and giving birth and yet I rarely find a bigger conversation as to how women can experience this part of life in a way that would bring joy and pleasure.
Safe to say that because I care about this conversation a lot to prepare my own self in this journey, I found someone in my coaching school who actually specializes in helping women how to experience ecstatic birth.
An ecstatic birth coach based in New York sits down with me to share what she does and what it is all about.

Did you know that the father of gynecology is a man?
Did you know that J. Mario Sims, the father of gynecology conducted his experiments/research on enslaved Black women without anesthesia, medical ethicists, historians and others say his use of enslaved Black bodies as medical test subjects falls into a long, ethically bereft history that includes the Tuskegee syphilis experiment and Henrietta Lacks. Critics say Sims cared more about the experiments than in providing therapeutic treatment, and that he caused untold suffering by operating under the racist notion that Black people did not feel pain.
So why the heck I am sharing this? Because this episode with Dagmar Khan, a pelvic floor specialist, shares how powerful women are. That as women, we need to listen to our bodies. That as a woman we need to know ourselves better and for such a long time, the narrative about women should have been created by men.
An important conversation and I hope you learn a thing or two from this episode.
If you feel that Dagmar's work strongly resonate with you and want to learn more, better check out her social media platforms over here:
Reality is, tantra is NOT JUST about Sex.
In all honesty, it drives me crazy when people share misinformation around this subject.
It is such a complex subject that I figured I invite my colleague in the Love, Sex & Relationship Coaching realm who grew up in a culture where tantra is part of their life.
Australian-based love and leadership coach who uses tantric philosophies in her leadership coaching work.
Purpose and desire. Consciousness and power that is how she operates.
If you enjoy this episode better and want to know more about how she works and apply the tantric philosophies in leadership, better head straight to LinkedIn to learn more about her.

It's Mark Singleton, he speaks of how Yoga changed with colonisation. Additional resource: Dr Van Der Kolks work around his belief that Yoga is an ancient form of trauma release.
The journey of my sexual liberation for the last 5 years comes with sexual openness. A friend of mine has shared this educational documentary series called SLUTEVER and has very eye-opening episodes around BDSM and kink.
This conversation is such an eye opener especially for people who have no idea what is BDSM and WHY people get into it.

Exciting conversation around Tantra and Tantric Massages!
Some of you have probably heard it, and some never heard it before. Essentially, Tantra is a type of spiritual practice or way of life. It’s really hard to just give a one-liner definition around a subject that’s been around for so many centuries, so I figured I’ll invite a colleague of mine who has done tremendous work around a particular area where Tantra can be practiced - tantric massages.
A juicy conversation around tantric massages with Mirjam Irene that will surely make you want to know more.

In this episode, I want to shed some light on men’s work and what we, coaches, observe based on our interaction with men. You see, I work mainly with couples, transforming their relationship. I have seen the never-ending struggle of men to connect, to relate and to express themselves towards their partners.
So I figured I would invite a colleague of mine who is currently based in Bosnia, but lived most of her life in the United States.
Samra is the founder of Alchemy Coaching and is a Men’s Coach. She helps men to develop a holistic and integrated relationship with their sexuality, masculinity, and sense of manhood. She’s also a Women’s Empowerment Coach that helps worn-out women live their life from a place of joy and passion. Her mission in life is to free sex, gender, and sexuality from the shackles of profit-centered capitalism and patriarchy.

Growing up in the Philippines and not having any formal education about sexual health, I heavily relied on conversations with my friends, or seeing ads on the tv about how you can take care of your vagina by using a vaginal wash to maintain its good health.
Only to find out as an adult that it is bad for you. It is interesting how the community I grew up into is vague around this conversation and there is such stigma around proper sexual health. Not unless your major in university is medically related, you would never really have any formal education around your own body. So women & men end up navigating it through trial and error.
So in this episode, I am bringing in Aurora Sunu is a Pelvic Priestess, as an embodied and ecstatic mystic she is an advocate for an embodied and liberated Pelvic Health.
Aurora is a trained Sacred Sexuality Coach, Pelvic Steam Hydrotherapist, and a trainee Pelvic Health Expert with The Institute for Integrated Pelvic Health with the Flourish Academy, and Trauma Release (TRE) Practitioner with the Body College.
Aurora helps women re-belong to their body's, specialising in working with women that have experienced sexual and pelvic trauma to nurture ways to shape pain and pleasure round. Helping you belong yourself to your own integrated sexual sovereignty by working with compassionate presence, and a fiercely-gentle love. Allowing you to know yourself remembered as sacred-earth, empowering you to be at exquisite choice to claim your own embodied liberation, for yourself, your relationships and your unique expression of your safe erotic-wild.
"As a Trauma Informed Coach, I call upon the ancient practices of the Tantric Arts, Holistic Pelvic Healthcare, Somatic Trauma Release Therapies, and my tools as a Priestess of 13 Moons, to weave sacred pathways that invite you into your own sexual sovereignty, embodied mystery, and Pelvic Presence.

Aurora is offering a workshop at Burning Woman Festival UK 23-26 July 2021: 'Temple of The Sacred Pelvis'
With the MeToo movement, there is so much talk about toxic masculinity and as I reflect on this. I’d like to think that what is toxic out there is based on society’s expectations on how men “should be”.
I figured I'll invite Renee Liza, a sex, love, and embodiment coach, who supports men and women to connect deeper with themselves, with their own body, feelings, their pleasure potential, inner wisdom, and inner power.
She supports men to find their magic and bring that to all areas in their life and into their relationships.
