In this first video/documentary style podcast, I review Lt. Col. Dave Grossman's seminal work On Killing: The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society. In doing so, I examine mankind's inherent resistance to taking human life. Next, we take a look at the US Army's discovery of this resistance and their subsequent efforts to overcome it.
