Nick Westburg joins Liberation to discuss his conversion to from atheism to Christianity.  Nick talk about the original seed planting by his girlfriend (now wife), during his late teenage years to later transitioning into ministry and how, for him the transition was seamless. Liberation Season 3 kicks off with a return to Pontiac, Michigan.  We salute Coleman Yoakum on a DECADE of helping the less fortunate.  I will be speaking with Coleman ( Executive Director) & Emma Tracy (Kids Program Director and Assistant Executive Director) of Micah 6 Community about post pandemic service of the community &  the progress of the upcoming Webster Community Center.  We talk about much more, plus we have a special guest Josh to tell us about his experiences with Micah 6. 

 Micah 6 Community is a non-profit program that serves the needs of the less fortunate in Pontiac, Michigan.  Micah 6 has home grown community gardens which gives away hundreds of pounds healthy food away to their neighbors and surrounding neighborhoods.  They interact with drug addicts, low-income families and homeless people to not only make sure they can eat properly but they also extend their homes and provide them the gospel and the love of Christ.

Micah 6 Community also serves the community  through  a small year-round produce store called SPROUT. They also provide a summer kids camp and after school tutoring for neighborhood children, giving them opportunities for enrichment and field trips. Micah 6 helps bring the community together with neighborhood barbecues.

Jerrie Barber, who has been a preacher for over 60 years joins Liberation to talk about his years as an interim preacher and why he doesn't want it any other way.  Jerrie presently serves on an interim basis as the evangelist of the Pacific church of Christ.

Jerrie will talk to us about some of his ups and downs as a preacher and he looks to assist congregations find "the right guy" while becoming the right church.  Jerrie also shares his wisdom with us about Bible Study methods. 

Jerrie will talk about the New Shepherds Orientation that he conducts to prepare Elders for the work they will be getting into as shepherds to their congregations.  He will tell us about his blog sites and his book "Between Preachers: You Can Grow Through Interim Ministry."
